Welcome to the website of the Bassetlaw Linux User Group or BassetLUG! We meet on a weekly basis to share our interest in Linux and other Open Source Software (OSS). We discuss current news, discuss how to put together differant pieces of technology and programming etc. We help each other out with issues we are facing. Sometimes we organise days out to places such as Bletchley Park. We have short and long term projects where we investigate cool pieces of technology to expand our knowledge or just for the fun of it. We are also looking at project or hack days where we will spend some a day doing some random project and see what we end up with by the day's end.

Our meeting location supplies us a comfortable environment with internet access, power and lots of other useful bits and pieces we might need including a good old cuppa!

What do we ask for this all this wonderful stuff you might ask? Not much, really! Come for 2 sessions with no commitment to see how you like it and if you do you can either pay £1 per session there after or £10 for a year's membership.
